Last evening the Town of Poygan Board of Supervisors Adopted a Revision of the Town of Poygan Zoning Ordinance.

OWN OF POYGAN ZONING ORDINANCE 
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WISCONSIN 

Whereas, the Town of Poygan, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, has established a zoning ordinance; and 

Whereas, the County is no longer exercising general zoning authority in the shoreland areas of the town; and 

 

Whereas, the town desires to exercise general zoning authority in the shoreland areas of the town; and 
Whereas, the town desires to amend its existing zoning code to update it to reflect the application of general zoning authority in the shoreland areas and to make other changes to generally update the zoning ordinance given the passage of time since the last comprehensive revision. 

Therefore, be it ordained by the Town Board, that the attached zoning ordinance is the zoning ordinance of the town pursuant to the statutory authority cited therein. 

This ordinance shall be effective upon publication or posting by the town clerk as required, pursuant to s. 60.80, Wis. Stat.
